Using the diamond array pattern on the carbon-polypropylene woofer diaphragm, the speakers gains more cone strength and improved acoustic response. Butyl rubber was chosen for the surround because of its smooth, linear cone support, as well as its durable composition. PEI Dome tweeters accompany the larger loudspeaker and result in crisp, clear highs that are not ear piercing.
